AARON KORNTREGER DESIGN, located in downtown Manhattan’s NOHO, is a full-service design firm that focuses on custom, user-driven architectural spaces. The goal of good architecture, or good design in general, is to create an intuitive and personal relationship between the user/inhabitant and the object/building. The architectural design process is problem-solving, crafting and constructing beautiful spaces and objects that react to, and make order of, the everyday clutter of our lives.

AARON KORNTREGER - After studying architecture at the University of California, Berkeley, Aaron moved to New York City in 2004, when he began to immerse himself in the practice of architecture. After a short stint at Rafael Vinoly Architects, Aaron began working at Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects, where he worked for 7 years, prior to starting his own firm in 2012. There he worked on a variety of larger cultural and educational institutions, including the David Rubinstein Atrium at Lincoln Center, the Lefrak (skating) Center in Prospect Park, The Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia, as well as a pair of dormitories at Haverford College.
